Where fixed term, contracts may be extended beyond fixed term, subject to funding / service needs.

We reserve the right to close the application process at any stage. You are advised to submit your application as soon as possible.

If you don’t meet the person specification in full, we would still encourage applications, as there are opportunities for the right candidate to develop further once in post.

You can apply online for most of our vacancies, directly from the relevant page for each role.

Volunteering at BLGC

Without our trusted volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to provide such a wide range of services for the young people of Bolton. We’re always looking for new people to get involved – and some of our full-time staff members started out as volunteers.

If you’re a passionate, energetic person with a bit of spare time to offer each week, volunteering is a great opportunity to meet new friends, develop new skills and contribute to the local community. Most importantly, you’ll be helping young people to meet their potential.

You can read about the experiences of some of current volunteers at the Volunteer for BLGC page.
