Are you ready to do something amazing?

We are really proud of the many activities, services, and opportunities we offer our young people of Bolton, but we simply would not be able to offer these invaluable activities without our incredible team of volunteers.  Each and every one of our 200+ volunteering team brings with them their own unique set of skills, talents, experiences, and above all, passion, supporting our young people to truly develop their potential.

Make a real difference to young people's lives

We literally could not provide the invaluable services we offer our young people without the support of our amazing volunteers. But it’s also a fun and rewarding opportunity for you too, to give back to the Bolton community, develop new skills, and make a real difference to the lives of our young people.

Volunteer of the Month

All our volunteers are amazing, but this month John Francis shone out and has been awarded October’s Volunteer of the Month.

John thoroughly deserves this award as during his short time with BLGC so far, John has already gone above and beyond supporting many areas of the Club. As a Youth Club volunteer John got involved really quickly, leading an activity on only his second session. We are also incredibly appreciative of John’s efforts in supporting NCS, even after his paid role finished, designing the graduation invites and thank you cards as well as all the other graphic design help. Everything John does is with enthusiasm and a smile and he has been a massive asset to BLGC this summer!

Thank you and well done!
