Administration Volunteer

Please note we do not currently have any administration opportunities available.

Locations: Spa Road, Bolton BL1 4 AG

Duration: We ask for a minimum of 6 months as we feel this is the minimum needed to understand the role and for you to really get something out of your volunteering experience.

Times: Flexible between 9:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

 

About the role

You will be volunteering behind the scenes supporting the Administration Team in general admin work. This could include filing, maintaining databases, assisting in creating promotional materials, answering enquires, welcoming members into the Club, and many other crucial tasks.

About you

You don’t need any previous experience as we provide you with training, but what we do ask is that;

  • You are professional, friendly, honest, and trustworthy.
  • Able to work on your own initiative
  • Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other applications.
  • Passionate about sports, and some knowledge of games/rules is preferable.

Food Bank Volunteer

Locations: Spa Road, Bolton BL1 4 AG

Duration: No minimum.

Times: Flexible

About the role

Our Food Bank is so much more than just a Food Bank. As well as food, we also help support some of our young people and their families with toiletries, games, and clothes. These items are generously donated by our Patrons, donors, charities, and the community and stored at Spa Road for distribution. You will support this important service by organising our food bank, rotating the stock, sorting out donations, maintaining our database, putting together parcels, and identifying any needs.

Please note that you will not be actively engaging with young people in this role.

About you

You don’t need any previous experience as we provide you with training, but what we do ask is that;

– You are passionate about our mission and about making a difference to young people’s lives.
– You are organised.
– Basic understanding of food hygiene.
– Basic computer literacy to maintain a database.
