Take a step into the Sports Hall or onto the Astro turf at any of our Clubs and see it brimming with young people of all ages getting involved in new sports.

Our Club delivers its extensive sports programme through its Try – Train – Team model, all delivered by our fantastic sports coaches (learn more about becoming one of our sports coaches here.)

Try is all about encouraging young people to get involved with as many different sports as possible. Whether its team sports or individual sports, there’s something for everyone. These sessions focus on fun engagement and participation.

Train is about developing skills. Train sessions are more structured sessions, delivered by experiences and qualified coaches in that chosen sport. Train sessions are currently available in the following sports:

  • Climbing
  • Basketball
  • Badminton
  • Table Tennis
  • Trampolining
  • Boxing

Team takes sports to the next level. These sessions are also delivered by experienced, qualified and passionate coaches who take the training to a competitive level. We currently have teams competing in local leagues in basketball and badminton, and both are keen to have new players help them progress even further.

We’re also proud to provide football opportunities to over 15 teams in the Club, covering all ages and abilities two days a week. Find out more about our football sessions here.

The programme’s mission is simple:
